i need 3 verbs to describe canada...
for my french poem..
plzz help
To be - that's the verb and you can add anything you want to it - To be awe stricken; to be touched; to be enchanted with etc etc
Être la crainte révérencielle frappée; être touché; être enchanté avec
To have - again, add what works for you. To have pride; to have freedom etc etc
Avoir - Avoir la fierté; avoir la liberté
To consider - again, add what works for you.
Réfléchir
to care - again, add what works for you.
Se soucier
to feel - again, add what works for you.
Se sentir eg Je sens cette fierté immense
Someone with a better handle on the vernacular in French could undoubtedly come up with things like To rock as in Canada rocks
What do they teach in schools these days? Why don't Canadian students know the difference between a verb and an adjective. WE should start limiting our teachings on US history and put more emphasis on reading writing and arithmetic.
Verbs indicate action, words that describe an object (such as a nation) are called adjectives.
Verbs are action words. Adjectives are descriptive words.
Multicultural
Barren, up there, neutral, hockey pucks, chilly, sanctuary for geese.
Gentil (kind)
Froid (cold)
genereux (generous)
