Is my car audio system a good one?

Head unit:7' double din

Component speakers: two boss audio 350w 6x9s and two 150w boss audio 6.5s and two 1.5' titanium super bullet tweeters 300ws a piece.

Highs: 4 titanium super bullet tweeters

Lows/bass:4 boss audio NX159DC 15" 3000w subwoofers

Amps; 4 boss audio 1500w rms 2ch amps for subs crunch 600.2 for the component tweeters crunch 1600.4 for the other tweeters and a crunch 700.2 for the 6x9s and the 6.5s are being run off the radio.

Im 14 its my car but its in my moms name 2000 jeep grand cherokee i have a kansas licence.my system is a 14,900w system

I already did all that to make sure everything would go together right and the dual voce coils of the suns when wired in parralel make it half the impedance or however you spell that

Your system is not 14,900 watts. The brands of your equipment LIE to you to make you feel good.

Look up the model numbers of your amplifiers, find out what the RMS output of the amps are given the impedance of the subwoofers you have connected to them. Now divide that number in half.

That number you get is the "wattage" of your system. I promise it wont be near 15000. A true 15000 watt system would cost over $15,000 and annihilate your ears.

Your system is "good" in the eyes of people ignorant to real car audio. But im going to guess you got it for free, so dont feel like you need to do anything to it. If you like what you hear then your system is FANTASTIK.

ok it sounds like your system matches but most people you ask say boss audio sux but i have 2 boss audio chaos 6.5 in my rear dash and they say 175 rms (true watts) but i doubt they really r... but if your happy with it then b happy u gotta pretty cool system and if its done up properly i believe that boss can slap... u dont have a 15,000 watt system that would rattle windows 3 blocks away lol but im sure u still got some spl...
