Some friends are coming to town tonight. I wanna take them out to dinner at a nice place, but they arent really fancy people so I dont want it to be too posh. And no sushi...

Too casual: Any MAJOR chains, Red Robin, Applebees, OUtback, Chiles, etc

Too Shmancy: The resort restuarants

Ok: Maybe Fondu, like the Melting Pot or Shabu Fondue, or My Big Fat Greek Restaurant, Abuelos, etc....

Any other good restaurants?

    I enjoyed Claim Jumper and Aunt Chilada's in Tempe. Both are off of W. Baseline Rd. from Interstate 10.

    Papaduex's on I-17 north of metrocentr on eastside freeway only one entrance of access road.. good food an atmosphere.

    joe's crab shack at Arizona mills of baseline and I-10, also Claim jumper downthere too.
