How to "save" a Florida Cypress Tree?
I got a couple of Cypreess Trees in my home and here in Florida they are endangered species, so they need some care, otherwise, if they die, you will pay a fee to take them down. Anyway, they are not handling so good. Right now they don't have any foliage and they do look like a bit dead. How should I care for these trees so I don't need to take them down and I can make them look good, instead of "dry about to be dead" ?

Like "MasterGardner" said if it's already showing signs of death then it may be to late to save it.

If they have already showed signs of death, you may have to pay the burial fees. Check the limbs to see if there is any green growth left in them. If limbs are brown clear down to the middle, they have no life left in them. If you find green after scratching off bark, they may still be salvagable. The winter weather, everywhere, will be responsible for the death of many, many useful plants.
We have had a hard winter. Generally speaking, the tree will be fine as soon as we get some warm weather. Here in South Louisiana, mine are leafless, but that has happened before and come spring, they leaf out and are fine.
