How do you do a smokey eye?
I've always wondered how to do that but whenever i try it looks like i gave myself a black eye! lol
Update:im allowed to wear brown eyeliner but not black. are there any ways to do a smokey eye w/ brown eyeliner or should i just skip it?

There's a million ways. the trick is to layer and blend a bunch of colors together...grey, brown, black, etc. and it will look less like you just got in a street fight. There are also a ton of helpful smokey eye videos on YouTube that you might wanna check out.
Today I did a cool smokey eye. Here's how I did it:
irst, I applied my eyeshadow base. Then, I thickly applied black pencil eyeliner on the top. I used my smudger brush (you can also use a q-tip) smudged it all over my eyelid. Then i applied silver to my crease & above. THEN I used my highlight color (a shimmery white) to my tearducts and brow bone. Then I reapplied black liquid eyeliner to my under waterline and top lashline. It was really simple because I was in a rush (okay, simple for me, complicated for most people) but it did look good.
