AsslamuAlaikum
It was narrated from Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever forgets a prayer, let him offer it as soon as he remembers, for there is no expiation for it other than that.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (572) and Muslim (684); Muslim narrated an additional phrase: “or sleeps and misses it”.
I think the times of prayer just give us a chance to have a deeper intention. No where in Quran does it say people lose the "points" by being ten minutes late. Sadly, we have taken the hadith and forgotten all about how important it is to be moderate...not too become too lax or too critical in our worship. If you get that obsessed with the rules, you will very easily turn your salat into a duty vs. a chance of being with Allah and offering the Divine your prayer with deep love.
Think about it realistically for a minute (no pun intended, lol). There were no watches and clocks in the times of Muhammad, peace be upon him. There was no way to tell if you were saying your prayer at 3:02 or 3:12. In a sense, the obsession with perfect timing in salat is innovation.
So do not ever lose track that obsession with the rules are not Islam, the love for Allah is Islam.
If u missed it, I would make it up in Magrib time.
Since, u can't do no prayer when the sun is going down, I say, wait until Magrib if u missed Asar.
When the sun is rising up, u have to wait, 15 min, or more, to do the prayer.
u pray AS SOON AS you remember.
you read 4 fardh qadha for asr... that shud be your intention.
