Does anyone know of any good, CREDIBLE online sources I can use in my essay about the history of Macedonia? I don't want any political one-sided information...if I did, I would use my cousins as a source haha.
You have to define of which Macedonia you talk about. And of what era.
Ancient Macedonia is a geographical space in the Balkans that once was occupied by the real Macedonians, that had absolutely no connection to the people now calling themselves Macedonians, since they occupied part of that space centuries after the ancient ones were no longer there. The same geographical space it is claimed by Albania and Bulgaria and by the FYROMians who are not satisfied with what they got but they want to take over the whole geographical region.
So, currently they have open fronts with another 3 countries in their unsubstantiated claims.
Even their language has not connection or roots to what the ancient Macedonians spoke and any resemblance to the language used of unearthed artifacts.
You have therefore to define what you look for and then it is easy to search on the net for information if only you press the right buttons.
