What do you consider a stress free enviroment?

I am over stressed. I can't even do homework at my house. I would like to know, because even at my own house I'm disturbed by nagging. I love silence most of the time but I also like to listen to music every once in a while.

Update:

I can't really go anywhere else because my neighborhood is sort of ghetoish? Plus not that many public places by where I live.

  • Depends what kind of stress it is for me..... If it is the type of stress where I'm extremely mad, and over worked....

I go in my room... put the lights on low... an blast the loudest metal or any music I feel for... then I can't quiet dwell on what is going on in my head or around me an eventually I relax.

If it is quiet I'm after.. I just go on a walk in the extremely early morning like before day... ..

I don't think any of these will really help with you... since I doubt your mom will like blasting music.. or knowing your walking around at like 4-5am... lol

  • I get almost never stressed. But, however, if I get stressed somehow, I just watch "Mr. Bean's Hollydays" and listen to "Charles Trénet - La Mer" also a soundtrack from that film...

It really helps me. Not only when I'm stressed. Also when I'm going do some job (social), what I really like to do, I listen first that soundtrack and watch some episodes from that movie, before I leave. I realy can concentrate on everything after that...

Try, maybe it will be also helpful for you :)

    Good luck...

  • Go to the library. I know.. nerdy.. but you can listen to your ipod or whatever and do some homework and it's quiet.

  • only come home wen you have to. find somwehre else to do your homework. my mom bitches and naggs all the time and the only way that helps me relax is getting out of the house

  • i kno how u feel...i lock myself in my room nd tell everyone not to bother me...but who am i kiddin that never works...laying in my hammock in my backyard is the best place for me...its impossible to be mad in a hammock
