BASICALLY UR SAYING YOUVE GOT MODIFIED STUFF ON YOUR CAR. dnt worry u havent told them bla bla same as me for example a bore exhaust etc etc. but if you do have a crash your insuracne goes void. Basically this means the police will get involved and wot happens is 2 things :
1. insurance - you wont be covered so you will have to pay the other persons damage. For exampple if they were driving a bentley and the damage was 50 k you wold have 2 pay that and if he injured his neck you would have to pay the compensation so you would be under debt as you may not be able to pay it.
2. police - they will ask you few questions, they can crush your car but most likely they wont if you say something like i was guna tel the insuracne or something.
ur in the same place as me i think its all about enjoying it but b careful !
Ok I'm totally lost. I have never heard of an insurance policy that becomes void if you have an accident. I know there are policies out there that will non-renew if you have an accident. Meaning that if you have an accident the company will no longer insure you after the accident. The police cannot prosecute you for having a company that does that. However if you did purchase a policy that is only active as long as you don't have an accident then becomes void at the point of the accident that sounds more like scam that a policy. I would contact my insurance company asap and make sure what it is that will become void. A non renewal means the pay for the accident but send you notice that on your next renewal you will have to find other insurance. I hope that helps.

What are you talking about?
There's no such thing as an insurance policy that becomes void if you have a crash.
Do you mean you are driving without valid insurance but you're choosing to break the law because you believe you will only be caught if you have a crash?
If so, hopefully you will be stopped by the police and prosecuted, and have your car crushed, long before you have a crash.
The policy you propose isn't possible. Legislation requires that every policy meets certain requirements - 3rd party cover at least (to protect the innocent). Any insurance you bought would not be insurance if it did not cover a risk. If you remove the risk then it would not be insurance.
Now, if you wanted to get insurance to pay you a certain sum in the event that you got stopped by the police for not having valid motor insurance, then you would still have a problem. Firstly, if you were able to get such insurance, the premium would be higher than if you just bought motor insurance; secondly, an insurance company that covered you in this way could be considered to be conspiring to commit a crime (driving without valid motor insurance) - so they wouldn't do it.
...or have I missed the point?
I might suggest you to try this site where you can get quotes from different companies: http://insurequote.info/index.html?src=2YAckbhdTW5...

why was or is your insurance void? if i understand you correctly, you have no insurance? if so, even if you get stopped by the police for speeding, broken taillight etc, the officer would give you a ticket for no insurance and most likely your license could be suspended.
and if you have no insurance and have a accident, then the other drivers insurance company would go after you personally for the car damages and/or injuries; also the same above for a ticket and possibly a suspended license on top of it.
better call your insurance company or your agent if you have one and ask them to explain if you have insurance or not. if you are uninsured, do not drive until you do.
No insurance becomes void when you have a crash, it only becomes apparent that you have lied to the insurance company about something that makes it void after you have a crash when the company checks everything with a fine tooth comb.
You would probably get away with it becasue your name and licence would be linked with the insurance policy.
Why on earth would anyone have an insurance policy that would become void if you had a crash? Makes no sense to me whatsoever?
If the policy becomes void when you have a crash... how does the third party claim againt a void insurance policy ????
I have never ever heard of a policy like this...
