Background info:

I am looking to get my associates degree at a community college in a career that requires interpersonal skills and leadership. I have researched and am having a hard time finding a career that suits my requirements. Something that is stable and in demand. I enjoy things that have to do with psychology, behavior therapy, helping others, etc. I hope that helps :)

  • Frankly, you'll never make a great living (financially) with an associate's degree. Many employers won't even consider you for jobs. They want a bachelor's degree. I suggest you start at a community college, and go in to the counseling center. Your first year will be all general education classes that will go towards any degree program anyway- so you're not wasting time. From there, they should have assesment testing that can help guide you towards a career- which will help you choose your degree program. But if you want to work in the psychology field, or behavior therapy- you not only need a bachelor's degree, you'll need a masters!

  • an AA isn't worth wiping you butt with anymore, You need at least a masters, and don't make it something generic like "leadership' i know plenty of "buisiness managers" at home unemployed on their ***,
