How to connect 2.1 speaker system to Samsung LCD TV?

Hi...

I've Samsung LA32D580 (Series 5) LCD TV. I want to connect 2.1 speaker system to the TV. Can somebody help me how to connect the external speakers to the TV. If I connect the speakers via headphone out (provided in the TV), the volume is merely heard able.

    Depends on the 2.1 speaker system. The TV probably has composite (the red and white) output that would work. It may even have an optical output that would be best, provided that the speaker system can accept that input.

    Also, somewhere in the settings of the TV are probably options involving audio output levels.

    You need an external amplifier. Except for the headphone jack. all of the auxiliary audio output connections on the back of the TV are intended for connection to the input of an amplifier. Your 2.1 speakers connect to the amplifier output, not the TV.

    If the volume is low it is because you have a variable audio output. You need to turn the tv volume up while plugged into the headphone jack.
