there is an option in the yahoo mail. u can write mail by writing the add of the message to be sent to. then u can write the mail in the box provided for the purpose.
no they haven't changed the format...i think u opened it from diferent OS..i also have this problem in linux..you can change the os or u can type a msg in any file format & attach it to the mail..so u don't need the message space...

I think what you do is to take a good sleep and go back to the site. The options will be right there.
