For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus to get

the full pop3 service for access to outlook,incredimail,

thunderbird, and others.

And use the new yahoo mail servers address.

* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com

Use SSL, port: 995

* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication

Yahoo doesn't allow this for its free accounts any more, so you can stop reading if you're using one.

If you have a paying account that allows connecting through outlook express, then I believe the servers are:

pop3.mail.yahoo.com

smtp.mail.yahoo.com

You should be able to find very detailed instructions by clicking "Help" while logged into your email account.
