Serious Computer Problems, Need help ASAP!?
Okay so after un-installing the Windows 2011 Messenger, I download Messenger 2009 (build 14.0.8117.416) After talking to my friends I realised that my webcam won't work, and I Get an error message saying:
"Messenger is not available right now. Please try again later. (0x8ac70013)"
So after pouring over the internet for a day I found nothing, So I uninstalled that Msn and tried to Install Messenger 2009 (Build 14.0.8089.726)
However, This is where the problems start!
Firstly, When I go to install the Messenger, i keep getting this horrible message:
"Windows Live Messenger installation canceled. aborted:0x80004004"
I could'nt find any help on the issue, Apart from Downloading some software called Revo Uninstall Pro, removing Messenger from my computer and trying again.
Now it has got to the situation where I Can't download Messenger (build 14.0.8117.416) or (Build 14.0.8089.726)! And also, now I have more computer issues, so could someone help me with these things?
1. How to make my computer install Windows Live messenger
2. How to make the Webcam work (If I can manage to download Messenger)
3.How to get the connectivity Icon in the bottom right hand corner, To display that I'm currently connected to the internet, as it's currently got a red 'X' saying that I'm not connected when I am.
4. my Webcam won't work on Dailybooth and when I go on Amcam or whatever it's called it says this:
Error: 80004002 Cannot run Preview Graph
I Really need the help, As the time I've wasted on trying to fix my computer i could of used on my A-level coursework!

You should scan your computer for viruses and other malware, it seems like something in the process of doing that could have messed things up a bit. I highly recommend (from personal experience) trying each of these anti-malware programs in the following order until it clears up the problem:
Avira: http://www.avira.com/ (Free AV)
COMODO: http://www.comodo.com/ (Comodo Antivirus)
Malwarebytes: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware...
If after trying all of these still doesn't work, you should attempt a System Restore. In fact, you can try this even before trying the above softwares. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Go backwards about 2 days or so (before the problem started).
No matter what the outcome of all this is, you should still have a decent AV software (I'd recommend Avira).
If you still aren't satisfied with Messenger, you should really be using Skype instead. It is much, much better. Messenger is dying, and more and more people are using Skype. http://www.skype.com/
Hope this helps,
Alex
carry the ability button in till it shuts off. Restart the laptop and spot if this methodology launches. domicile windows XP replaced into incredibly liable to this variety of malware, yet with the launch of Vista and domicile windows 7 and person account administration, there's slightly greater secure practices.
