In 06, as a junior senator he made this statement. "raising the debt ceiling is un-patriotic" He babbled on as he often does, noting that every person would owe 30k due to reckless spending. Oh how times have changed, now its ok......what an idiot! For you that voted for him, may you sleep at nite.

He has made it clear that he doesn't want to increase U.S. debt (which is a very natural part of the economy if you knew anything about macroeconomics), the problem is the money is already spent and to not pay it back would be a lot worse than raising the debt ceiling to pay back our loans.
In 2006, Obama supported funding the government...then supported the means to stop funding that previous commitment. That is the highest essence of hypocrisy.

No. Congress has already approved the spending and now must pay the bills. Obama has no choice. Being a hypocrite is claiming to do your duty to America, but putting your (Republican) Party before America. Which is why cons are again on the warpath to wreck our economy.
