When I tried to read my email today, I was told that the incoming mail had stopped at 9:17 Saturday morning. I refreshed the box. Now it says that I have only 53 emails. What is the problem?
If emails are missing from your inbox, or messages are missing from your IM conversation history, the first step is to ensure that the messages haven't unexpectedly moved to a different folder. To rule this out, please do the following:
1. Check any folders that you have set up. In some cases, email is unintentionally moved to a folder. This sometimes happens in the newest version of Yahoo! Mail, where the number keys are shortcuts to custom folders within your account. Also make sure you are looking at all the folders I have windows 7, and on my inbox page, on the left, in the folders section, next to where it says Folders there is a small triangle on the left. Click on that and all your folders should show.
2. Check your email filters. You'll want to ensure that a filter isn't directing certain emails to an unexpected place. To view your filters, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page, and select Mail Options from the menu that appears (in Mail Classic, this is Options | Mail Options). Then select Filters from the options on the left.
3. Try using the search feature, located at the top of mail page, If you know the name of the sender or recipient or a word from the subject line of a missing email, try running it through Mail Search to see if it's hiding within the account.
you could block that manage. seek for the 'concepts' link at top proper nook of mail reveal screen and click on it concepts /mail concepts click on 'unsolicited mail' contained in the record on the left. Then in 'Blocked e mail Addresses,' enter the e-mail manage you want blocked, contained in the container after 'upload a blocked manage' and click on the 'upload' button, then click on 'save ameliorations' at suitable left of reveal screen. you'll in no way get mail from that manage again.
