hows this trade?
MJD and Chris Henry (Cin) for Derek Anderson and Ryan Grant (maybe Kevin Jones)
Anderson is on his bench so he should basically see it as MJD and Henry for Grant
he needs better RBs/WRs so i figure he might go for this, henry will probably be on my bench most weeks
i need a solid #2 QB (we play 2)
Update:his starters
QB Manning, Favre
RB Edge, Maroney
WR Cal. Johnson, Smith, Boldin
W/R Grant, K. Jones
yes he has steve smith and boldin but they are doing bad this year, especially smith
Update 3:my team
QBs Palmer, Warner, Bulger
RBs Barber, Jacobs, Jones-Drew, Lynch, Morris, Dayne
WRs Ward, Driver, Hackett, Harrison, Henry, Walker
theres no reason to give him a QB so please dont suggest it
Comments
Would he accept it? I don't see why not. He doesn't need Anderson right now and MJD would really help. Maroney is pretty much a non-factor.
There's two things he might deny it because of.
1. Manning is no lock to play weeks 15-17, fantasy playoff time. If that's the case, and he has a shot at the playoffs, Anderson will come in handy for him.
2. You have 5-7 players better than Henry that you are not offering him. He may not be happy getting the 7th or so best player on your team and counter it with something you're unhappy with.
Is it a good trade for you? Yes. You get a lot of help at Qb (which sucks for you, Bulger should be better). You also lose some steam at runningback. Grant isn't going to do much the rest of the year. Maybe a TD a game or something (I mean, the Packers barely run the ball anymore). He's not going to be a better start than Morris (as long as Alexander is out), Barber, Lynch (when he comes back), and Jacobs (when he is healthy). So Grant would be the 5th best back on your team.
You really don't need him. I would say he could help, with Jacobs and Lynch banged up, but Grant isn't healthy either.
If he denies or counter it, and you really want Anderson, counter back with MJD and Henry for Anderson straightup.
Good luck.
Looks like a good trade to me.
hey buddy i kind of just told you to do that trade
