What's a Serial Code?
This may sound stupid, but it's a real question. Not kidding. I need to know what a serial code is and where to find it on a Sims 3 game.
Update:I really need to know where it is on a sims 3 box. I'm trying to register Sims 3 Hidden Springs.

It's the code to activate any, repeat ANY software - not just games.
In my daughters case it's on the back page of the games manual.
Sometimes it's on a sticker inside the jewel case.
the code you get when you buy the game so they know you paid for it
