2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP tires?

well its time for me to get new tires on my car and I can't seem to find out wether or not i need to get the two different sizes of tires or if i can get the same size all the way around. and if i can get the same size all the way around which would be better to get put on, the front ones or the rear ones all the way around?

  • With a powerful V8 on a FWD platform Pontiac's engineers determined this to be the optimal setup for handling, acceleration and to control torque steer. Since this model came out I haven't read anything to counter their thinking, so don't change it.

  • Grand Prix Gxp Tires

  • well the impala ss has the same engine and platform and it uses the one tire size all the way around so take a look at the size on this car and try it on your car

  • If you're the original owner, just look at the sidewall of the tires for the size.

Also, if getting just 2, replace the rears first, 2 new tires ALWAYS go on the rear first for proper traction and steering stability.

  • look on the inside panel of the drivers door for the correct tire size. you could also check out tirerack.com, they have a decent selection

  • i would stick with the tire sizes it is designed for. changing sizes may make the handling different
