My preschooler does not read or write...?
How do I encourage him to be interested in writing n reading. I am a stay home mum with another 2yr old girl.. am I not spending the right amount of time with him that makes him not doing well, how much time do u spend time with your kids playing/learning. I try to incorporate learn and play so they wont get bored.
Update:yes, he just turned 4..

If your child is four then he should not be reading and writing yet. You can encourage letter recognition; for example with flash cards, or the magnetic letters. You also build pre-reading skills by reading to your child
If by preschooler, you mean under the age of 5, he should not be able to read and write yet!!!
you can encourage but kids move at their own pace...
try learning games and naming things but dont expect ur child to be a genius just yet give him time to learn and explore he just isnt quite ready yet
