Do you call a doctor "Dr"?
I'm talking outside a hospital environment. I am a teen and I have friends who's parents are doctors. Should I call them Mrs. and Mr. "Andrews" (as an example). or Dr. Andrews? I just don't want to be rude by calling them Mr. or Ms. but I dont want to sound weird. My daddy is a medical doctor and people call him both Mr. and Dr. (im not sure if its on purpose or if they dont know). 10 points for best answer!
PS- you shall earn extra points (and more likely to earn best answer) if you can tell me WHY we adress Drs as Drs when we dont adress others as "teacher" "grossier" or even "nurse". once again 10 POINTS!

Call them Dr. Unless they state otherwise. My science teacher got very angry if you called her Mrs. Instead of Dr.

Ask your friends how you should address their parents. Some doctors are okay with being addressed as Mr./Mrs. while others prefer to be addressed as Dr. because it is a title they earned through many years of hard work and dedication. You could also observe how others address them or just ask the person directly how they would like to be addressed.
