  • Contact Garry at http://www.garryscamera.com/ and ask if he can repair it. He doesn't list the P30 on his Repair List but it can't hurt to ask. His email is [email protected]

  • When it comes to film, the camera body doesn't really matter much. The Canon is an EF body, so any lenses that will mount will work on any Canon DSLR as well. The Z70 is very similar to the Rebel S as far as the body goes. It will mount just about any Pentax lens ever made for 35mm. Those same lenses will also work on their DSLR line. Pentax lenses are also cheaper than Canon lenses on the used market, but just as good. The Pentax will also use the older manual lenses from as far back as the 1950's, unlike the Canon. It is really six of one, and half a dozen of the other.

  • If you can't get it fixed then I would sell you my P30 that I've had since new and never use.
