Is America's Cultural Acceptance Ironic?
Is it ironic that by being the world's "melting-pot" of race and heritage; the land of opportunity for any culture; America has become a big pompous snob that thinks it's better than every other country?

Yeah, I've always found it ironic that of a nation that's made of so many different kind of people, and a nation that was founded by people fleeing religious persecution, we're so slow and reluctant to except social equality, and we're so eager to push our personal beliefs down the throats of others.
I'd just like to point out to everyone as of 2010. America is 7th best country to live in, NOT FIRST. France is actually the first, and Australia the second.
I have never thought USA was the best country. Possibly because I've traveled more than most Americans ever do!
Well, that's only natural. We ARE better than every other country. Except with the gay-rights laws, but we're SLOWLY working that out. Gay military, for one.
What the hell do we need with a "gay military"?
