2001 Mondeo Central Locking Problem?
Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me please. I have a 2001 Mk3 Mondeo, when I apply the double locking mechanism both with the key in the drivers door and the remote I am not getting the indicator lights flashing to acknowledge the sytem is set. All the door, bonnet and boot sensors are working correctly . . . any ideas why? is there a reset program I can try . . I've looked in Fords T.I.S but cant find any reference.....thanks Rob

don't worry about putting the alarm on that. who in their right mind would would want to nick that?
Is it not an option to take the car to a garage and have it checked out? Obviously the electrics/mechanics in the central locking system is not working properly. You should be careful using the car because in case of an accident (or some other emergency) you might find yourself locked in and unable to get out.
put the alarm system in to self test mode and run the test as it tells you in T.I.S this will pin point the fault
90% of the time it is the bonnet switch
That's a Ford for you!
