Who do I report a Fraud/Scam to??
if you recieve emails from [email protected] or [email protected] this person is running a scam. She has a "client" mail you fraudulent Travelers Checks then wants YOU to cash them and send her the money. That way YOU are out the $$$$.
My question is do I report to local police station or some other agency??

This is a very old scam. Don't waste your time calling your local police. There's nothing they can do. Other law enforcement agencies only take reports if you actually got taken on the scam.
My advise to you is to stop opening unsolicited email from unknown people. It's alwasy spam or a scam. When you open it, you tell the sender they have a live email address and you will be flooded with more scam offers.
You will never find anything of value in spam. Just delete it, unopened.
Yes, report it to the local authorities and the surrounding counties as well. Also send it to the carrier of your email account so they can investigate as well. I would print out what she/he sent and make sure it gets into the local authorities hands.
I would report it anyway, you know it may not do any good, however I would report it so that if by chance something happens on down the road then you will have a police report stating that you tried.
The best thing to do is contact the police in that county... They have a bunco squad that will investigate for you.... Good luck Grant M in Pennsylvania
that is federal so you should contact the FBI. Or you local police department can refer you to the correct place.
YES YOU SHOULD REPORT THIS SO THAT NO ONE ELSE IS RIPPED OFF OR UNKNOWINGLY ASSISTS THIS PERSON IN BREAKING THE LAW OR BREAKING THE LAW THEMSELVES. A SIMILAR SCAM WAS PLAYED ON MY AUNT AND SHE HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS AN ACCOMPLICE!!!!
forward the spam (plus the headers if you can) to [email protected]
The FBI collects the spams and tries to prosecute.
