Last year they toured with Ozzfest. In an interview I read with them, they said that was the last tour they were doing for a while. They said they are on a "hiatus" but that there will always be a System of a Down. It looks like the members will be doing some side projects and working on different albums with different bands. I imagine they will be back after a few years, after they experiment with other things. So they never said they were breaking up, just that they were taking a "break". So they will be back one day, just not anytime soon.

They broke up according Sirius Satellite Radio. Which is stinky because I really like them. BYOB is my favorite by them.
