Serious advice needed?
Alright i need some serious advice.
Im a 17yr old girl who's suffering with hyperhidrosis. If you don't know what it is google it.
I suffer from my hands and it is impossible to hide, without looking weird.
Boyys are always asking me why i dont have a boyfriend, if im so pretty.
I dont know how to explain my situation. I really would like a boyfriend, but how would i explain it?
Its extremely embarrassing!
Any advice on how to hide it or something? Please

Hey Emily do you know wats important in life to be successful its important to try with faith in oneself. Well I did google up hyperhidrosis its not somethng very unusual its just excessive sweat in your case its hands & its curable check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperhidrosis, you can have medications & also get a surgery done. Whats critical here is the psychological impact getting nervous as the article underlines "Affected people are constantly aware of their condition and try to modify their lifestyle to accommodate this problem". So, you need to learn to build confidence & feel good about yourself "The world sees you as you see yourself" Its time you love your self so that others can love you. Its just some extra sweat its all right with anybody if you have extra sweat in your hands you just need to feel comfortable & try out medications.
Do you know the ' Father of Modern Computers' Mr. Bill Gates suffered from Asperger's, which is a form of Autism & still amongst the most successful men in the world....So, we all have weakness just need a way to fight it out and make our weakness our strength.
Wish you luck in finding the love of your life & I am sure things will be good soon......
Just tell them your nervous or tell them the truth. I doubt any man worth having would be too picky about sweat palms....well...when your an 18 year old college freshman it might come in handy and make you really popular with the guys =P.
Come on, a guy who likes you is least likely to care,
have fun as you grow, sweaty palms won't be much of a bother.
grow self confidence that should help.
just believe in your self and the guy will understand
take care

if a guy really likes you he wouldn't care at all.
i suggest becoming friends first, though.
trust me, i once dated a blind girl. she was awfully clumsy (it was cute) but i saw her for who she was; she was intelligent and could 'see' straight to my soul. not to mention extremely cute.
