Im helping a friend... thats EXACTLY as it states on the paper.... im in AP Algebra...hes in Math 7. . .n ive NEVER seen a problem like that! im not sure weather to multiply or divide or add or subtract or any other operation...

    if you are converting decimal 1600 to base 40 then here it is.

    1600 / 40 = 40 R 0

    40 / 40 = 1 R 0

    answer = 100

    if you are converting 1600 base 40 to decimal

    then the answer is:

    73,600
