Is a dew claw injury serious?

My lab injured her dew claw. It took most of the nail and part of the pad part?? It does not seem to hurt her, her behavior is normal but she is licking it a lot. I am a college student with very limited funds, but will take her the vet if I need to.

Nope,just watch for any(unlikely) signs of infection.
Did you clean it? Then,leave it alone.
Sounds like she will be alright. Just keep an eye on it and if it shows any sign of developing an infection, take her to the vet. It couldn't hurt to put some hydrogen peroxide on it to kill bacteria and possibly discourage the licking a bit.
dew claws aren't anything to worry about.
just make sure you keep it clean.
dew claws aren't used for anything, and most dogs have them removed.
don't waste money taking her to the vet, they will just give you something to clean it with or recommend removing them.
she'll be fine
