Sims 2 Custom Content?

I have the Sims 2 base game, Uni expansion pack, Nightlife expansion pack, and Open for Business expansion pack.

Awhile ago, before I got the last two expansion packs, I had downloaded a lot of custom content. However, it started messing up my game so I deleted it.

I recently came across some things that I had to have in my game. I downloaded them, put them in the Downloads folder, and started my game. But, when it's loading, it only gets up to the "Preparing Bacon for Homeward Transportation" part, and then it crashes.

I have all of the patches installed...what's going on?

    There is a chance one of the CC you installed in corrupt and is crashing your game. I highly reccomend download the Sims2Pack Clean Installer. Just follow the easy instructions at the website, and it will sort through your downloads folder, and tell you which file is causing the problems. I really hope this helps you!

    yea alot of custom content can interrupt your game

    it would jus be best if you jus deleted that stuff

    and re-intsall your game

    then u can start fresh :]
