A problem with my camera?

Hi, so my camera records videos just fine, but when I upload the video into my computer I can't see but only hear what's in the video..has that ever happened to anyone before? and how can I fix this?

    Your computer is not set to play that video file type. Look at the filename of the video. Take note of the extension. For example it's .avi. Go to the internet and download the avi codec for you OS. Install. Try playing the video file again.
