Should I trade Moises Alou for Dave Bush?

  • Yes. Although Moises Alou in history is much greater than Dave Bush, Moises Alou is at the very end of his career. He's already slowed to a crawl. On the other hand, Dave Bush is good and getting better. He may have been only about average last year, but he's on the rise. He will definately be close to an ace this year.

  • Bush is an up and coming starter, who should win 12-14 games this year, even tho he plays for the Brewers. He's 27 years old, which is when most players hit their 'prime years', and it's his 3rd year in the big leagues, which is when pitchers usually finally 'get it', so he should improve on a decent 2006 season.

Alou is still a decent hitter, but he's as fragile as an uncooked piece of spaghetti, and he's 40 years old. If you need pitching, and can spare Alou, I'd make that deal in a heartbeat.

  • Say no more JP nailed it

  • **** off you sad knob!
