Hello. Please derive step by step z(u,v) = (u/v) find z'_u and z'_v.
Do we use (u/v)' = (u'v+uv') / v^2
If we do what do the following equal?
u' = ? (is this 1 when deriving with respect to u?)
v' = ? (what does this equal?)
Update:I mean (a/b)' = (a'b-ab') / b^2
