Write as a single natural logarithm: 1/2 - ln 7
how do i do this?
perhaps
lnx = 1/2 - ln 7
x = e(1/2 - ln 7)
x = e^(1/2) / e^ln7
= e^1/2 / 7
lnx = ln(e^(1/2) / 7)
But I'm just guessing
Since lne^(1/2) = 1/2,
1/2 - ln 7 = lne^(1/2) - ln7 = ln[e^(1/2)/7]
