college sports dilemma?
okay so ive played sports all my life, and its been a dream on mine to play in college. another thing ive always wanted to do is go to a big D1 university, because of the whole atmosphere and it seems like theres always something to do or a game to watch. the thing is, although im a good athlete, i know enough to face the fact that im not good enough to play at a school like that. i really love sports and i cant imagine my life without them, but also i feel like they will also cause me to limit my choices of where i can go. i have a friend, who like me, lived and breathed sports and was lined up to play at a D3 school but then changed her mind to leave sports behind to go to a bigger school because she said she cant just pick a school because of sports. has anyone gone through this or have any advice to offer?

Why not go to a JC and see if you can play at that level than try proceeding to a University. If you're good at the JC level than you can have enough oomph to believe you'd be good enough for a D1 or D2 school's team of some sport (I d/k what you've played). PEACE & GOOD LUCK...put education ahead of sports.
