Where I live, Sarah and Sara are completely different names. Sarah is pronounced SAIR-ruh, and is extremely common, whereas Sara is an uncommon name pronounced SAH-ruh. I prefer the name Sara, as it sounds more elegant to me. However, clearly you're asking about the name Sarah, which I obviously prefer with the only legitimate spelling where I live - Sarah.
I like Sarah more because whenever I see Sara, I always pronounce it saw-ruh. And, for some reason, I like the h added. Without the h, Sara seems so bare...
Sarah, the h makes it seem more like an uh sound at the end and with out it the same seems unfinished. Plus there was a girl I went to school with named Sara but it was pronounced different, like it rhymed with star, but without the t sound.

Sara
Sarah, It is a biblical name and it means princess. Sara, looks like people tried to make a classic name modern. That is most always a bad idea.
Sarah. Sara looks unfinished and incomplete.
I prefer Sarah. It seems more elegant and princessy. While Sara just seems a bit uncomplete.
They are different names - Sarah is said like "S-air-ruh" and Sara is like "s-are-ruh"
I prefer Sarah though. But both are weak names to me.
Sarah is my absolute most favorite girl name ever. I love it spelled that way too. Sara just looks incomplete and it's definitely not as classy.
