  • A paralegal is a person who is qualified through education, training, or work experience to perform substantive legal work requiring a sufficient knowledge of legal concepts, under the direct supervision of an attorney.

Basically, paralegals do the research necessary for an attorney to use in court. They also help to gather evidence, conduct interviews, and do file the necessary papers in the courts.

  • They assistant attorneys by helping in preparation of cases, looking up legal precedents and preparing court documents.

  • You get all the long hours and mind-numbing case work of a lawyer without the money or power.
