My asus a53s doesn't charge?

Hi me and my brother got the same laptops for christmas and now 6 months later mine starts to act all weird.When my cord was in for maybe 10 minutes and i pulled it out my fingers got burned because it sas boiling hot. Now my charger tip looks different from my bros. he can just put his charger in the computer and it works. Not mine. Mine i have to forcibly push my charger in until my hand slips and it gets maybe 10 minutes of plugged in mode. Or it just says theres nothing charging it. Both of our cords work with his computer. The good one which is his doesn't even work on mine. And theres is a difference when i put mine in. It feels tight and feels like itdoesn'tt belong there. His just slides right in but stilldoesn'tt charge my computer. Please if someone finds anything or knows how to help me post right away. Thanks
