Napoleon Bonaparte ensured the continuation of the basic rights and important social class changes that the Revolution brought on and managed to do something none of the other Republican governments could do, he brought order and prosperity to France. Napoleon should not be blamed for the crimes the British vehemently spew at him, he was a hero who had ideas that could of progressed the world in stunning ways. The British are to be held responsible for the crimes Napoleon has been accused of, they organized assassination attempts and despite frequent offers of peace continued to start bloody wars for their own selfish reasons. Truly there is no better example of the victor writing history.
