How to pursuade my mama? :(?

Hi y'alls!! Im currently going to this school right now and I am a sophomore now, its not that awkward anymore like seeing new faces. Here's my problem. I go to this school and I really dislike it. At first I kind of liked it when I was a freshman but you know how high school goes after a while people change and be really a *****. Second, my friends change, and theyve become bitchy, I don't even know. sometimes who to hangout with because I don't want to be that loner asian and it bugs me, I can't concentrate sometimes because I'm always worried who to be with, I mean its just probably not me but you know what is the feeling I guess. My last reason why don't like it because I can't really make new friends because people already know my face and you know like those impressions if they don't even know that person, and my friends don't trust me, I don't know why, I've did something before but now with them its with a different group and that was like in 8th grade.

I really want to move to this other school but a) it is not my district b) my mom won't let me and c) its 20mins away from my house. I know a friend that goes there and she even made a lot of friends than me and she just move here in CA from Philippines last year, I am not saying I'm jealous but I just want friends, you know people that trust you, people that you could hangout or do your homeworks together. I've tried to persuade my mom but she kept telling me to "just focus on your school", "how could you get there in the morning and after school" "do you know what is their PSAT scores there" and such but she can't understand me I keep telling her I can't because I've got no one at school I mean I do but they annoy me sometimes, and they are kind of fake to me I could tell from their faces :( . My mom even has this business and its like 25mi away and she do that everyday most of the time they got that and I keep asking her why can't she drive me there not even that far I guess, not like how far they go.

  • explain to your mom that school isn't just about learning. In fact it's highly dependent on team work and group projects and extra curricular. How are you supposed to have a partner for the group project if you don't have any friends? No university will accept someone who doesn't join a non academic related school activity. You can't be confident in the drama or music club if you don't have any friends to back you up.
