Acura integra rebuild?
How hard is it to take the vtech out of an integra and rebuild it for Performance? New pistons, crank, and just 100% rebuild on it then add on a turbo? Also I want to swap for a rebuilt 6spd tranny, how hard is that to take out and then put back in? I want to do this all myself I have tools and will need to buy an engine jack and a few others. I also plan on reading a few books about the engine and then getting a step-by-step guide of rebuilding it. I want to do this as a side project and eventually have a killer street car. Any other advice for me?

vtec is a good thing to have in a motor. Turbo, or not. Removing it is not recommended unless you go with a set of Toda vtec killer cams to which the normal lobes of the cam are already set to have a higher lift and duration than a set of vtec cams, but good luck idling properly with those. Regardless, they don't make a 6 speed b-series transmission, so as said before, you would need a k20 motor to be able to have a 6 speed.
But a k20 swap is not really all that hard to do, and it can easily fit in an integra. Be forewarned though, to do a k20 swap, it requires removal of the passenger side motor mount and you have to cut a hole into the shifter area for the shift linkages to fit.
A stock GSR motor [internally, that is] can see 300whp on around 9-10lbs of boost out of a t3/t4 setup as long as it has been tuned properly. That is more than you will ever need for the street.
First,It would be hard to put a k20 in a teg...Anyway, I'm going to assume that you have a GSR motor because it's vtech. I would suggest just selling that motor and getting an ls (non-vtech) and building it for a turbo. These motors tend to hold up better when boosted. Other than that, my only advice would be to get good parts and do stuff right. Don't get cheap stuff off ebay and expect to not have any problems. But as far as the trans, I'm not too sure about getting a 6 speed put in, I don't think they make one. Hope this helps!
vtec is performance... in order to get a 6 spd tranny youll probably want the K20Z engine it costs with the transmission and ECU about $7000 -- stock.... Good luck it shouldnt be TOO hard to do all that time consuming but not too hard... read up!
Battery is ineffective, which has probably led to your alternator to die besides.. Get somebody to furnish you a jumpstart if that works, then get a clean battery and get your alternator examined, you will probably ought to get a clean alternator too, yet you opt to earnings it first. stable success.
