Menstrual problem, please help.?
Hello all, I've had my period for 6 years now and it's still irregular; I only get about 5 periods each year. When I do get it it's extremely heavy and I get really bad cramps that will make going to work and school extra difficult. Should I be worried about this or do other people have the same problem?

It all depends upon your age........if u are teen then not to worry at all(about irregular periods) because it'll become regular in next years..........And about ur heavy periods...........i think u should ask about it to ur mom......or visit the gynecologist because its been 5 or 6 years and u still can't manage it!!!!!
Best Wishes!!!!!!!
k i dont know if that is normal as this can in the long run have an impact on your life as u will have a problem when u want to have kids, so the best advise i can give u, is to consult a doctor b4 this goes hectic, its better if u go see him nw or u will regret this later.
I think you should go to the doctor just in case, i'm not sure if its a sickness or anything but i'm pretty sure that it can't be good to have irregular periods. I think it would be best if went to a doctor its better to be on the safe side. God bless
Hey.
If it bothers you a lot, you may see a doctor and he or she will probably recommend some kind of birth control to regulate your period.
Consider it may also be your overall condition. This is just my personal experience but I used to be pretty heavy and had very irregular periods. When I lost just 10 pounds, my period went to a more 'regular' and manageable schedule but there are months where I do gain some weight and then I may skip the period until I lose some weight.
I wouldn't say it's a huge worry but you should check it out if you are paranoid (there is no harm really!) or if it's really uncomfortable and bothersome to you. Hope this advice helps you out.
irregular menses is a common problem. but if it worries you and if the pain has become unbearable, please consult a gynecologist.
