How do I fix my computer?

I have a windows 7 hp laptop and when I start it up it says esc at bottom corner and when I hit it it says all these options but if I don't hit it it goes to a black screen with blinking dash in the top left corner how do I fix it please help

    Try to recover it to the last good configuration. To do that, when you start your laptop, push F8 repeatedly until you see the page which have several options which one of them is "recover to last good configuration" . Go to that by arrow keys and press Enter. your problem might be resolved.

    Try to remove the network cable. (Except wireless).

    Enter the BIOS options, Select the hard disk mode.
