I like NVIDIA and buy nothing else and yes the 9400 is a good Card there are better ones in that price range but I don't know what you are paying for (I buy wholesale sorry)
I have previously owned the 9400 GT 1 gb.. let me tell you it is way below all the cards.. hence the cheap price.. it has very low and poor performance.
If you would like technical Detail..
Nvidia has put 1 gb of memory in this GPU.. but it has been called a marketing scam as it has only 16 stream processors.. clocks at around 350Mhz.. Shader clock is 700(I think)
So.. it uses only a maximum of 256mb... which is substandard. It will never really use that 1 gb it claims to have.
You can play games like HL2, Doom 3, etc. or all games on low res and low setttings..
If you want a card that gives almost 10 times the performance.. go for a HD 4870.. as its prices will be slashed again soon..
it must be capable to however i am not to definite to be dependable i might pass with a 9800 gt when you've got the cash however no longer many do exactly laying round so it must run gta:four and defiantly run WaW
