Adobe reader to Photobucket?

So i scanned some pictures onto my computer (i used a HP deskjet F4480 if that helps) and now when i open it it goes to Adobe Reader. I want to get them to Photobucket so I can fix them and stuff, but whenever i open up a download box, they're gone and i cant download them. i've tired to look it up on the internet and such, but nothing has helped me. Any ideas?

PS. i have windows if that makes any difference.

  • I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you, my friend, the reason Adobe Reader is being called up is because you're saving your files in .pdf format. No matter whether you're able to find them or not, you'll not be able to upload them to Photobucket.

What you need to do is rescan your pictures and save them as .jpg, .tiff, .bmp, .gif, .png, etc. These are graphics formats.

Can I guess now? Are you pressing the Scan button on your HP Deskjet F4480? If you are, this is where your 'problem' may lie.

Try clicking on Start (or the Windows orb), All Programs, and then look for the HP folder. You should find that there's an option in there to scan. (Sorry, I'm not absolutely sure of the names of the HP programs as I don't have an HP product.)

Failing that, you could go to Start > Control Panel, and then look for Printers and other hardware > Scanners and Cameras. Double-click on the icon and see what options you have in there for scanning.

I'm truly sorry that I can't be more specific.

Do check what formats Photobucket will allow you to upload. Some websites have a limited number of file types that you can upload.
