is it a good idea if I'm an extremely fast typer and have an interest in law?

what's the career outlook for court reporters? will I have trouble finding a job once I get a degree/certification in this?

do any of you actually work as a court reporter? what's it like? would you recommend it?

    I think they use special equipment, but fast typing couldn't hurt.

    Strong growth in the fied: "Employment is projected to grow by 18 percent, reflecting the demand for real-time broadcast captioning and translating"

    I'd say its worth talking with some people in the field. find out what they actually do and if its right for you.
