ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ERROR?
Hi guys,
I have been using photoshop for a year or so now.
I am trying to complete a magazine cover for my uni course,
although every time i go to type the masthead (title) the print is tiny.
I have changed the text tool and type so that everything is as big as it can be, yet it still appears small. I have also resized the image and this does not help. Can anyone help me?

When Photoshop starts doing strange things, reset the Preferences file. Press and hold the Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys and start PS. When it asks about deleting a file, YES. Let it then go ahead and start. Close it and open again. This time it will rebuild the Preference File. Hopefully this will fix the problem. I don't think it has anything to do with the other suggestions offered as a solution to this problem. Text is a vector and can be any size in any resolution and remain sharp as a tact.
BTW, if you don't get the question about deleting a file, do it again, you missed pressing the three keys at the proper time.
I can think of two reasons it is happening (if I am understanding your situation correctly)
1. your printer automatically resizes all pictures it take
2. whenever you print something, it is generally recommended to print at at least 120 pixels per inch. I mostly print at 144 pixels per inch, and the highest density I ever worked under was 600 pixels per inch.
Go to image => image size => find "Resolution" and type in 144 there.
And tell me what happens. I will be back to this question 24 hours later from today.
Sounds like your document is set to some crazy huge resolution.
go to:
image>image size > resolution
you prob want 72ppi if its for something online, 300ppi if it is for print.
