why does Joe Perry destroy his guitar?
I've noticed that ,at the end of every Aerosmith Concert (on the ****** locked tour), that he has taken his rose wood neck black body stratocaster guitar and smashed the headstock through the fan and then he grinds to end of the guitar (the neck end not the body) and breaks it until the fan stops. Does anyone know why he does this besides the fact that he's awesome and he has a bajillion dollars and can destroy strats like that?

Just being a showman. Jimi Hendrix used to light his guitar on fire. The 60's and 70's band, The Who, started that whole thing by destroying all the instruments at the end of a concert.
Always found that very cheesy.
