Do other Dimensions Exist?
I know your probably thinking That i got this off a movie and to be honest....i did family guy to be specific....but im just curious if they really exist, or if they do then a way to traveling through each one.....

I think there is only three spatial dimensions + 1 temporal dimension. There are uses to using 'other' dimensions, like quaternions and stuff. Also, if there were other dimensions, it would show equations. Let's say gravity worked in an extra spatial dimension. The fall-off rate would be higher than the inverse-square law we have now. I think it would be an inverse-cube law if we had another dimension.
There are some tests to see if there are extra dimensions wrapped up on extremely small scales testing if the laws are different at those scales, but I'm not entirely sure.
Its possible. Know has been able to prove or disprove it. Roberts 'proof' was a sham. There are two types of higher dimensions. String theory (which relies on M theory) says that there are 11 dimensions, these dimensions should be thought of as dimensions that are so tiny that we cant notice them. Imagine looking at a thin wire, from a distance it will look 1 dimensional. But for an ant it would appear two dimensional-it can walk backwards of forwards as well as around the wire. In this scenario our universe would occupy all of the lower dimensions.
If you imagine our universe as just a thin slice in a big block of cheese then it is easy to see that anyone in this 'flat' universe can only see 3 dimensions+time, but others must exist because there are other slices. Like a piece of paper which you would consider 2D and have 0 volume, you would say the universe has 0 volume if more dimensions exist in this way.
As a side note mathematically higher dimensions make perfect sense, its only when we try to comprehend it that it seems impossible. For exaple a point in 3 dimensions could be described as a vector point: (3,5,2) similarly a point in 4D could be described as (3,5,2,9). This idea can be continued indefinitely.
Yah it's actually not to far fetched from a study of pin pointing the exact position of an electron. Stunned scientists couldn't exactly do it because of the great elasticity and speed of it. They formulated the idea the electron is being used in several different dimensions (up to 11) if you follow string theory. The cartoon dimensions aren't exactly the dimensions that exist. Try looking up a hyper cube demonstration on youtube. It's a simple cube in the 4th.
It's more accurate to say they haven't been proven not to exist.
I'm assuming that you mean parallel universes not dimensions as M-theory now says there are 11 dimensions.
