when you are over 18 anyone can adopt you.
I spent four years in family court...I know that in the foster care system, you are considered an "adult" and that you are not open for adoption. I don't think the courts would even entertain the idea of using their time on adoption for an 18 yr. old.
This makes no sense to me whatsoever. If you are 18, you are an adult and don't need to be adopted!
only if both parents sine adoption papers. Poor girl, don't you have Anny other relatives were you can go. if you have someone in mind and they want to adopt you, just get your birth parents to sine.
Why would they want to? Is the parent rich or something?
